In 07 and 08 there were only 6-10 barrels of this. In 2009, 47 barrels. Since the bad frosts in 1984/5 30% of the vineyard was replanted and many of these vines are now old enough to contribute to the village wine. In 1999 even serious winemakers made 50 hectolitres/hectare. In 2009 things more under control, but even with two green harvests final yield was around 54 hl/ha. 20% new oak used for this cuvee, with Etienne ordering light+ toast barrels from his cooper.
Mineral, delicate, sweet red and black cherry fruit. The tannins are good and silky, no sign of extract, nice (as in precise) texture. (CW 03/11/10)

Sarah Marsh
Deep red succulent aroma. Sweet attack. Pure and fruity with some light, but tight grip in the middle palate. Very pure, straight and with good tension. It is woven with acidity and fruit. A classic a straight Vosne. Lovely pure finish. Excellent balance and singing finish. Understated. Very good indeed. From 2014
