Antonio Galloni
The 2004 Barolo Cannubi is one of the most reticent wines in the lineup. Freshly cut flowers, mint, sweet red berries, cinnamon and a dash of oak gradually open up in the glass, but the 2004 is going to need more time in bottle to truly open up. The Cannubi is Scavino`s smallest production single-vineyard Barolo, which makes it hard to find, but it is well worth the effort. 96 points
