Stephen Tanzer
Good deep red. Musky red fruits and a whiff of pepper on the expressive nose. Juicy, bright and on the lean side, with moderate intensity but good freshness to the flavors of red berries, spices, pepper and herbs. Ultimately a supple but nicely delineated village wine, finishing with a hint of chocolate. 87 points

A blend of 13 parcels. Perfumed violet and rose petal, luscious scent. Sweet and elegant onto the palate, juicy and bright, a real twang of energy. Fine textured tannins. Bright on to the finish. Zesty red cherry fruit. There is minerality to the end. It is a nicely layered village wine. This is not as rich and seductive as the single village parcel of husband Louis, but on the other hand it has more energy and minerality. Very good.
