The 2013 Kirschheck Spätlese is the fiftieth anniversary for these vines, and the wine has turned out beautifully this year, with the typically ethereal personality of this bottling very much to the fore. The delicate and refined nose delivers scents of pear, white cherries, slate, bee pollen, fruit blossoms and lemon zest. On the palate the wine is medium-full, bright, pure and focused, with good depth in the mid-palate, lovely filigree and a long, focused and dancing finish. Tout en finesse. 2014-2035+. 92 points
