The 2022 Riesling Kreuznacher Krötenpfuhl Kabinett is from a site with many pebbles and aquifers, which explains the name that refers to the moisture-loving toads. Despite the pebbly soil, the vines root deeply and have access to water. A slight spiciness plays on the lemony citrus nose. The rounded palate displays tea leaf hints with a lovely sweetness and beautiful herbal tisane notes. The 2022 finishes not sweet but medium, down to the 9 g/l of acidity. (Medium) 89 points
