Jane Anson
Bright En Primeur character, kicking off with raspberry, wild strawberries, black cherry, a litlte austere with firm tannic architecture, set to grow into itself over ageing. 30% new oak. Yield 52hl/ha. Harvest 25 September. 91 points

The 2023 Domeyne has a rather surly and backward nose that needs to come out of shell by the time of bottling. It’s just a bit conservative in the context of the growing season. The palate is medium-bodied with an approachable, fleshy opening. It`s a different wine than the aromatics would suggest, but it lacks a modicum of complexity on the finish. 86-88 points
