Uncorked flooded by Loire
There are signs that our neglect of the Loire valley is coming to an end. With the help of a new bestie in the region, we have been introduced to new producers galore. Heavens to Betsy, we may even have to revisit the region in person at this rate and since it's twelve years since I went and discovered that Sancerre can be the coldest place on the planet, that's also a bit overdue. To celebrate the newfound cornucopia of juicy and crunchy wines from the region, here I am writing this in the rain and hoping for some sun to shine on these darling buds of May. /CW
