Star-bright wines from France's overlooked region
Yes, it's the coldest weekend of the year so far and yes, we are delighted to present a range of fresh and terroir driven wines. Thirty years ago, when Australian wines reappeared in the UK marketplace for the first time in a generation and a half, the Loire valley disappeared from our consciousness in the blink of an eye. As you well know, we like the north of France from a wine point of view. Burgundy is on our minds and these two areas are neighbours.
But these Loire wines are very versatile and as you see, have, in many cases ample aging potential.
