Premier cru Chenevottes is wedged into a triangle abutting both St-Aubin and Puligny, and it faces over the road to Le Montrachet. One is reminded of the estate agent mantra, ‘location, location, location’. Lemon, stonefruit and white flower notes drive the bouquet; the palate brings salty mint, and flowers in milk. Very nice and crisp, with good acidity followed by a distinctly mineral impression on the finish. (NT 09/12/24)

Pale primrose. The oak shows a little more on the nose, but it is well chosen and works well with the fruit. Fresh citrus on the palate, oranges as well as lemons, with a steely intensity, the classic grip of Chenevottes. Long and tasty finish. 91-94 points
