One of the oldest and best of England's sparkling wine producers
Nyetimber is a long term project entirely focussed on quality. They didn't harvest a single grape in 2012 because they weren't happy with the quality and that should give you an idea of their ambition. They're pioneers: making England's first single vineyard sparkling wine - Tillington - based entirely on the quality of the fruit; making England's first Prestige Cuvée - the 1086 - and both of those wines are amazing. Stylistically they've not fallen into the trap of accentuating acidity, a prolem we too often find. Everything goes through malolactic and is much more balanced and harmonious for it.
