Vivid red. Lively, sharply focused aromas of redcurrant, blood orange and minerals, with a smoky quality emerging with air. Tangy and linear on entry, then fleshier in the mid-palate, offering juicy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of zesty spiciness. Fat-free and nervy on the finish, with echoing notes of blood orange and minerals. I`d bet on this youthful wine to age gracefully. 90 points

The 2012 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast reveals a dark, healthy plum/ruby color, and beautifully textured notes of forest floor, autumnal vegetation, plum sauce, black cherries and spice. It is an attractive, sexy, round, well-endowed Pinot to drink over the next 5-6 years. 90 points
