Neal Martin
The grand vin has a fine bouquet, not complex but clean and fresh with redcurrant and raspberry fruit, nicely integrated oak. It needs a little more delineation although it does appear to gain clarity with encouragement. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins, perhaps a little more rustic than usual but with good weight. Fine red fruit, linear and masculine, this deserves two or three years in bottle after release. Tasted April 2014. 89-91 points
James Suckling
A 2013 with a firm, silky tannin texture and fresh, clean fruit. Medium to full body with a lovely textured mouthfeel and a long finish. Savory and delicate. 91-92 points
