Full bright colour, with a slight green note to the otherwise red fruit. Brawny on the palate while still being a bit under-ripe. Yet the wine finishes on quite classy fruit and the concentration is there. Zesty, vibrant. Could give more later. 93 points

The soils here are particularly poor and limestone-white, producing one of the most backward wines at the domaine, which often needs at least five years in bottle. Rose petal aromas segue into a wine that’s taut and crunchy on the palate with cherrystone fruit and mineral sap. Drink 2019-28. 96 points
