Often described as the godfather of modern Greek wine, Vangelis Gerovassiliou is single-handedly responsible for rescuing the Malagousia grape variety from extinction - and what a find! Properly treated, Malagousia is responsible for elegant, perfumed, full-bodied whites. This is a pretty classic example, full and floral, as natural a match with Asian cuisine as with Mediterranean.
