Lean, waxy, dried red fruit aromas, figgy, sappy and floral, very complex and fascinating! A hint of cigar-box in the mix. The palate carries the savoury theme, with tomato leaf, dried herbs, dried cherry, framed by supple tannin. Lower extraction here than on most Xinomavro, full-bodied and elegant, a really fun example of this grape variety. (JH 10/10/2024)
