The 2018 Corte Sant`Alda Ca` Fiui is Marinella Camerani`s unadorned Valpolicella, without any ripasso character. But it doesn`t lack any interest with its raspberry and cranberry fruit and good, sturdy structure. Definitely a wine that shouldn`t be overlooked in favour of its more glamorous and powerful siblings as it`s food-friendly and rather delicious drop. (CW 21/02/20)
