Quiescent at first, but it quickly opens up to display lovely floral aromas, ripe peach and quince fruit and a subtle wood-spice note. The palate is broad but elegantly restrained, excellent textural winemaking in evidence here. A modern style of white Rioja, very fine indeed! (JH 22/02/2024)
