The 2022 La Tour de By has an intense mocha and black tea-scented bouquet with decent delineation and touches of cedar emerging with time. The medium-bodied, harmonious and poised palate offers a touch of sapid black fruit leading to an elegant blackberry- and bilberry-scented finish. This is very fine. 89 points

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2022 La Tour de By reveals aromas of cassis, crunchy (al dente) blackberries and spices, complemented by a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated mouthfeel with a juicy texture and lots of freshness. It`s a bit firm on the finish. 88-90 points

Smoked caramel and coffee bean, closes down right now, this is an impressive showing for the estate, with clear tannic construction, attractive salinity and juice to the ripe fig and bilberry fruits. Softens a little through the mid palate, but has real charm, showing the benefit of its Estuary-location. 90 points
