Grapes purchased from their neighbours. Minimal new oak, but it shows as an extra level of complexity on this fresh, lean Chardonnay. There is a subtle note of reduction as well, adding to the appeal - this is stunning value, supple and flavoursome. Citrus and ripe apple and pear dominate the fruit, with a creamy note on the finish which lingers beautifully. Very fine wine for a very reasonable price. (JH 18/07/2024)
