Strawberry and bramble notes on the bouquet, with suggestions of flower and herb. Tannins are relatively light, and the creamy, yoghurty mid-palate is followed by a vibrant sense of salinity and tension on the finish. Not a big wine, but a very well-balanced one that will put on weight as it ages. (NT 12/12/24)

The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Village has a fragrant bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, quite minerally and stony compared to the previous vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry. It moves firmly into black fruit territory with touches of graphite toward the finish that is a little more austere than some others, yet still well balanced and fresh. 88-90 points

Fresh crisp ruby purple. The fruit on the nose too is on the fresh raspberry side. Powerful intense dark raspberry fruit, adequate acidity, fair persistence. Still quite backward but there is a sense of class. 90-91 points
