The 2011 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos des Porrets Saint-Georges 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet with redcurrant and cranberry, a subtle seawater scent that emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, packed full of blackcurrant and cranberry. There is a trademark leafiness that develops towards the firm, structured finish with traces of black tea on the aftertaste. Give this another two or three years in bottle.
