Josh Raynolds
Deep ruby. High-pitched red berry, spicecake and floral scents are complemented by deeper suggestions of cherry pit and licorice. Taut and sharply focused on entry, offering palate-staining bitter cherry and raspberry flavors that flesh out and turn sweeter with aeration. Silky tannins add gentle grip to the finish, which hangs with very impressive, subtly spicy tenacity. The interplay of power and elegance here is quite something. 93 points
