The 2016 Arlaud Roncevie was racked a week before we tasted it in preparation for bottling in December. It is soft and easy with a lovely texture, fine fruit and good balance. But wines at this level are all about the level of extraction and Cyprien has judged it brilliantly. Roncevie is a 10 hectare climat and Arlaud has half of it. The vines are 60 years old and as is well known it is in a Gevrey villages area. (CW 7/11/17)

Jasper Morris MW
Half a crop, from a plot below Gevrey. Medium deep colour, attractive middleweight pinot nose, slightly less body than expected, though the quality of fruit is good. Highish acidity keeps the wine fresh. 87 points
