Neal Martin
The 2017 Kershaw Deconstructed Lake District Cartref SH9c is very refined and focused on the nose, presenting aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, pressed iris and potpourri and a light marine influence. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, a fine bead of acidity and a fresh red currant, cranberry and blackberry finish that lingers long after the wine has exited. This is another deeply impressive 2017 Syrah from Kershaw. 95 points
