A beautiful low-intervention dry Chenin Blanc, picked very ripe, fermented with natural yeast and bottled unfiltered. Intoxicating aromatics of marzipan, hay, honey and cassia open into baked apple and lemon curd over time. The palate is unctuous and full, rich with pear and frangipane tart, cut through with enough classic Chenin acidity to keep everything upright, finishing long and gently saline. Complex and highly satisfying! (NR 19/06/2024)
