Jasper Morris
Mid lemon yellow, with some warmth to the nose. On the palate there is a delicious depth of quality fruit with a little bit of mirabelle, but with a wave of slightly different flavours and a mineral touch to finish. 92-94 points

The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Tête du Clos 1er Cru comes from white soils, which perhaps translates onto the nose with traces of white Chinese tea tincturing the orchard fruit. The palate is very well-balanced with good depth, hints of tangerine and nectarine and a precise, fresh finish. This will not require too much time in bottle and will be difficult to resist in its youth. 91-93 points
