Clear pale lemon and lime. This has a more chiselled mineral nose despite the slightly higher alcohol here. Charles used to pick his Narvaux late but it is now near the front of the queue. A ripe generous fruit on the palate, not heavy but certainly sunny, all white fruit and the limestone minerals continue to shine through. Drink from 2027-2033. 90-92 points

The 2022 Meursault Les Narvaux comes from three different plots. The almost clinical bouquet offers lemon thyme and crushed limestone, tightly wound initially but focused and opening with time. The palate has a powerful entry, perhaps thanks to the age of the vines - a majority 45 years old, with some octogenarians. The acidity is perfectly judged with a touch of spice enhancing the refined finish. Very promising. 91-93 points
