France remains the beating heart of international wine, exporting their grape varieties around the world. The (now quite old, of course) New World makes their own, often quite different, variations of French classics - and not only the obvious ones (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc) but the more under-rated and obscure wines as well. We'll be putting a few of these side-by-side with their French counterparts over the next two weeks, join us for what will hopefully be quite a fascinating tasting...
